Title
Pizza Parkour
Premise
You play the role of a pizza delivery boy in his late teens who delivers pizzas from Pizza Mountain by car, he has this job because his parents want him to make money for college. If he ever makes one goof in his job like forgetting to deliver a pizza to a customer he’ll get fired, so this job is very important, but he didn’t forget any customers until that one day. One day, while driving the pizza car, the pizza boy was listening to his favorite song on the radio and didn’t notice the giant oak tree that he was heading towards, and CRASH!!! The car got wrecked, though the pizza boy was still alive. But what’s worse is that after the crash, the pizza boxes from the car have flown away in each direction and landed in unsettling areas. The pizza boy knew that he’ll get canned if something isn’t done about this, so he ran off to the nearest pizza box and locate and deliver all of the other pizza boxes before closing time for Pizza Mountain which is at 11PM.
Genre
The genre for this game is an endless runner game.
Theme
The theme will be punk, and indie style-feel and art. .
Backstory
The backstory is that Derek wanted to have money for college so his parents suggested taking a job for Pizza Mountain.
Synopsis
All of the pizza boxes landed in different areas, Derek wants to save his job, so he has to find all the pizza boxes before time runs out.
Game Character Elements
Character One
The Pizza Man
Background
The pizza boy’s name is Derek Froder, but he’s given the nickname “The Pizza Man”. He’s an 18 year old boy who works for Pizza Mountain as the delivery boy.
He has a slacker personality before working, but now he has that rookie employee feeling when working.
Physiology
Derek has the average late teen male body, he’s also 65% well-built. He has red hair on his head and his goatee, and has freckles and brown eyes. He has a silver earing on his right ear and he always has his blue headphones around his neck everywhere he goes. Derek also has strong arms for carrying large amounts of pizza boxes, and has legs that are suitable for wearing skinny jeans. He also wears black converse shoes.
Sociology
Derek’s a senior in his high school, he has friends who are into the same things he’s into like punk rock, alternative music, hipster trends, art, and most importantly, girls. He does do sports for the high school, like swimming and baseball. He does have a driver’s license and he has his own car, so that makes sense on why he’s a delivery boy. He does take his friends out to get food at the mall or probably sneak into the strip club. Since he’s working at Pizza Mountain, he sees his friends less often than usual due to the long hours of working, so deep down, he misses the slacker life.
Psychology
Like before, Derek was a slacker, hipster, and a playboy reader before he started working at Pizza Mountain. Now that he does work he feels 50% confident in his job because he misses the slacker life, but he loves the car delivery parts of his work day. He also feels encouraged by his parents for getting the job because they wanted him to make money for college.
Vocal Characteristics
Derek’s voice would sound like Yosuke Hanamura’s voice from Persona 4. He usually says “Dude” whenever he starts to say something.
Character Two
Fat Vinnie
Background
Fat Vinnie is the founder of Pizza Mountain, the name applies to his body. He’s a man who came from Sicily and found his future wife in America and raised two children. Vinnie’s a man who works hard to support his family and considers the employees of Pizza Mountain as his family as well.
Physiology
As the name applies, he’s a husky Italian man in his 40’s. He has stubble on his
Chin, his skin is tan, and he’s 50% bald with a patch of gray hair.
Sociology
He was raised in Sicily in his youth, until he was 20 years old he moved to America to start the Pizza Mountain business. He has a wife, a daughter and a younger son.
Psychology
Vinnie is a hardworking man, he even loves the job he’s managing. He’s 20% cranky and 80% lovable.
Vocal Characteristics
He has a heavy Sicilian accent, he sometimes uses words in Italian whenever he ends a sentence of what he says.
Character Three
Bulldog
Background
This bulldog is one of the many enemies you will see in the game, if you’re near him he’ll run towards you and tries to bite you, if you are bitten you’ll lose a pizza box.
Physiology
This bulldog is like all other bulldogs in the real world, but this one is colored purple so it’s more noticeable.
Sociology
Bulldogs act like junkyard dogs. With all the growling, biting, chasing, and spiked collars, you’ll know that dog is evil.
Psychology
This dog likes to be the bully, trying to bite you so you can lose a pizza box, even likes to chase you around for intimidation, and barking for intimidation as well.
Vocal Characteristics
Dogs can’t talk, so he growls and barks in a heavy tone.

Style
In game music consists of a few short samples that have a variety of moods, all of which still give a "running man" feel. Moods can differ from cool jazz to energetic synth and anything in between that can keep an upbeat rhythm that will maintain the game’s pace. Music was created using GarageBand.
Sound effects are cut from different sound files that best fit their in-game origin. Sound effects were created through Audacity, using sound files from freesound.org.
Types and Assets
The Pizza Man – Derek will make several exclamations when he stumbles over an obstacle.
There also faint sounds of footsteps as he runs.
Enemies – Approaching enemies will make themselves known (either before or after making
contact with the player) through different sounds. Bulldogs will growl when lunging at
the Pizza Man. Thugs will growl when approaching and hobos in the city will laugh
maniacally
Obstacles & Misc. – Falling trashcans will make a tumbling sound to warn the player to steer
clear. The player will also be notified when a pizza has been collected with a “ding”-like
noise, and when successfully delivered to a customer, the player will be alerted with a
cash register sound.
Art Style Guide
The Art style of the game is somewhat cartoony, but as realistic as we can make it. Our goal is to make the game look as real as possible, but while having to stick to a certain amount of polys and rely on textures alone, it doesn’t always render the perfect realism we might hope for.
