The idea is to adventure with other players in a medieval world, where you can build houses, mines, and a lot of other stuff - wherever you want. You might want to start a village with your friends somewhere in the mountains, or maybe even build it inside the mountain.
One meter wide, two meters tall, 20 centimeters thick.
One of the few walls available in the game. It's modeled in a way so that individual parts can be dynamically shown/hidden to reflect the current construction stage.
Hehe, the description reminds me of Wurm Online. :)
Anyway, hope we get to see some more progress since the idea sure does sound attractive.
You could say that I was inspired by Wurm. However, with Pestilence, I'm planning to put more time to each feature and polish them as much as possible.
For me, Wurm Online was too slow-paced and it looked unfinished. Don't get me wrong - it's a good game, but it's not using all of it's potential.
yeh, plus, I hated the skill limit of 20 when you're a non-subscriber, speaking of subscriptions, will this game have any? Or will it be singleplayer? Or will it be a singleplayer/multiplayer hybrid?
Pestilence will be completely free. I always hated how the rich players had advantages against other players.
It'll probably be multiplayer only.
Ah well, I had a lot of fun in the free version of Wurm. And I like how slow it was; that way, when you saw other players with a big house or a castle you would actually go 'WAUW! They built that?!'
yay, the mod isnt dead!
Who said it was?
edit: This isn't even a mod! XD
