Parasite Warz is an upcoming RTS being developed using Game Maker: Studio, available for Windows and eventually mobile platforms. Parasite Warz is set within a fictional microscopic universe in which two rivaling parasite species are battling each other for control of it’s host. The game mechanics are simple, send worker parasites to harvest DNA which is used to construct additional units (workers, warriors) and attempt to crush the opposing red parasites by building up an army of warriors to attack the opposition. Each side has a matriarch which is key to building new units and harvesting DNA. Defeat the enemy matriarch to win the game. However, if your matriarch dies, it is game over. The finished game will feature a total of ten levels, each one progressively more difficult. Use of strategy and a well thought out plan is key to victory for this game. The engine utilizes a fog of war system similar to Warcraft and Starcraft. The entire project is being developed by one person.

Firstly, I like your parasites, good art. The music is ambient.

I only have one major complaint and thats where blood cells yield no DNA. If this is intentional, I suggest such cells dissolve into platelets when touched.

Other suggestions:
1) make warriors/workers smaller in size. i.e. the worker should look like they are visiting a cell, not in wide orbit.
2) main menu >> indicator triangle too small.
