Hey,

First of all, really enjoy the game. Had I paypal I would have gladly paid $10 or $20 dollars for this, but I settled for the $3 iPod app instead.

Second. I'm actually running this game on an iPad 1, with the latest version of iOS.

Ok, Here's what I've noticed:

-Even when I have learned a spell from a book, and have tons of mushrooms, I can't cast a spell beyond the initial spells your spell caster starts with. It's been very difficult to do anything when I run out of spells so quickly...

-When I find town, I have gotten stuck in the orchard/berry farm. It seems to have something to do with the fence? The places I'm allowed to pass through either change or seem to close off after I have used them once or twice.
This is something that has happened twice to me now. I'll see if I can continue to repeat it.

-If I cancel a spell, I lose my action.

Thanks for such an awesome game! I hope you introduce other payment methods I will gladly pay more for continuing updates!

Glad you like the game, and my sincerest apologies for the bugs.

1. Are you memorizing the spells? In the spellbook pane you have to tap on the spell icon until it is added to the prepared spell list below.

2. This is called the deadly fence of doom bug :(. The upcoming version fixes this, but you can save your game with a simple fix. First quit the game and return to the main game menu. Select the 'quit' button so that the game actually exits, it's not enough to press the iPad home button, you have to kill the app too (you can do it with the iOS app manager if you like), then run the game, load your party and leave the fenced area immediately, on your first click!

3. This is a bug, and the next version addresses this.

I've already submitted 1.9 to apple for approval, it should be ready within a couple of days, so if you haven't got too far on a game you can start a new one in a world with more monsters, items, and castles.

Thanks for playing, feel free to ask questions/roast me.

1) I was NOT memorizing spells, thanks for the clarification! I read the Players guide and this step is NOT mentioned anywhere (that I found)
how about under Spells there's a little extra explanation like:

"Once a spell is learned it must be prepared from the spell book. You can only prepare spells if you have the mushrooms required to cast that particular spell. Don't forget to prepare more spells once you run out!" Use my exact words if you like.

2 and 3 Thanks!

Came across something else:

Playing a game where I some how get infinite move actions. The little bar that shows how much movement I has appears empty, yet my turn doesn't end unless I tap the character and click "wait"

If it helps, no matter how many spaces away I try and move I will only move one square at a time, but even when I click "wait" the next character experiences the same problem.

This has happened in two games, both of which were ogre/gnoll/elf and I saved shortly before experiencing the bug (I finally started saving a game or two... Not so sure how I feel about being able to do so.
