Machinations is a real-time strategy game where you manage and direct swarms of ships to take over and destroy your enemies. Plan your attacks carefully to gain the the most tactically advantageous Nodes (space-stations which build and house your fleet). Upgrade your Nodes with defensive lasers or build shipyards to augment your fleet. Capture super-weapons to cut swathes through your enemies' fleet. Play against up to three AI players in frantic, randomised melees matches. Or complete the Campaign mode to help Admiral Sudo (your robotic commander) reclaim his lost empire.

Present in versions 0.0.1 and 0.0.2 .
This bug is cosmetic (it does not affect the rules of upgrading) , but one variation of the bug also technically allows the player to build an upgrade on an opposition station.

When you have at least 10 ships on a station with room for another upgrade, when you select it, the upgrade menu is coloured green and available to select.
However, if the station's ship count drops below 10 whilst it is selected, the upgrade menu remains coloured green and able to be selected (though it will have no effect) .
This affects both the spanner button (build upgrade) as well as the upgrade type buttons (laser turret, shipyard) - see screenshots below.
(Actually, the menu does update when certain events occur, but not immediately) .

Another variation of the bug actually gives a player the ability to force an upgrade to be built on an opposition station.
If a player controls a station and has it selected, the upgrade menu is available. If this station is then taken over by another player, the upgrade menu is still displayed and usable, meaning the player can now build an upgrade on an opposition station.
This could be used maliciously to quickly reclaim a recently taken over station.

The problem here is probably not updating the upgrade menu visibility (or selected state of a station) when its capacity changes or it is taken over.
