History

Astral Clocktower Studios is a female-owned, independent game development studio based in Central PA, USA. Born from the passion of three fantasy fanatics and animal-loving gaming gurus, the studio set out to create a title that effortlessly combines the heart-racing thrill of fierce combat with the epic imagination of saga-driven lore.

In development since mid-2018, Kristala aims to do just that. With its dual emphasis on story-driven gameplay and crushing combat, the game not only tugs at the heartstrings and delights with its charm, but also somehow speaks to our most primal of instincts—to kill or be killed.

Though ambitious for an inaugural title from a fresh-faced indie studio, Kristala sets the perfect tone for what can be expected moving forward from Astral Clocktower Studios: a body of work rife with only the most unique and engaging audio, visual, and gameplay experiences.
