Joe the Crow is Analog Digital's first production. It started in summer 2014. The Game is being released the first of January 2016. Joe the Crow is an easy to play casual game. It has an intuetive gamplay with no explanation for first time player. Just one clear and simple game task: Collect points within a certain time period. The game is targeted towards: casual gamers/ music lovers and chillers. The experience of the game is to flow around and collect points. The soundtrack is complex and so is the levels. But the game is simple and not to hard. The level is really large, But the screen view is kind of small. The idea is to merge that feeling of casual games like candy crush with the experience of an adventure game. One of the main inspirations for the game is Sonic the Hedgehog with it's fast speed. Another inspiration is the simple but new format mobile gaming and touch screens. The Design idea dea was to create something modern but classical. So green bushes in water colors

Joe the Crow is an easy to play casual game. It has an intuetive gamplay with no explanation for first time users. Just one clear and simple game task: Collect points within a certain time period. The game is targeted towards: casual gamers/ music lovers and chillers. The experience of the game is to flow around and collect points. The sundtrack is complex and so is the levels. But the game is simple and not to hard.

One of the main inspirations for the game is Sonic the Hedgehog with it's fast speed. Another inspiration is the simple but new format mobile gaming and touch screens. When it comes to the visual design. The idea was to create something modern but classical. So green bushes all the way. And asset painted in water colors. A giant sky witch changes from time to time, and a rough crow. The goale was to make a cartoon character and a cartoon world wich had modern (european/Norwegain) expression. The crow is one of cool animals that don't get to much atention, and the European style is the natural stuff, bushes in geometric shapes and no arteficial bling bling. The game is pretty simple, But it was not simple to make a simple game. It took a long time to develope and find the idea and the feeling of this game. The team connected through indieDB. It was first a designer and a programmer. Half way we got a new programmer and started to work close with 6060 Studio for the soundtrack. The first programmer was from Itally and the second one was from Pakistan. But today we are taking the team local and using people from the indie game scene her in Bergen, Norway
