That's MY craft right there! Hands-down!
I love your work guys.
Even if i have to wait 10 years( i don't hope so ^^) i would like to play the game
keep up the good work and make this game a killer of all other scifi games
;)
craft is very neat, even though it looks like it could use some side wings all the way back to decrease its pointy-ness a bit. although maybe its just me that got used to classic plane design.
this game simply cannot fail, because it obviously moves the boundaries of size and design in gaming development, and there's the great engine and awesome artwork. so, you guys already won!
Well IIRC, the Ferox was at first more modern jet-like, but since we have a policy of no wings on fighters, they got clipped off.
Yeah, wings are useless in space and shouldn't be on spaceships, they only have some use when you enter an atmosphere. We aim to make spaceship designs that not only look cool, but are also believable and functional for it's environment.
makes perfect sense, and a bigger target out of your craft too. but perhaps you could make some for other faction? i mean, i appreciate the realism without question, but there are going to be players that always dreamed of piloting VF-1 Valkyrie-like fighters in space...
small windows, people. asteroid/debris to window is like a knife through paper. why do people continually make this mistake? i guess they're just used to sci-fi depictions from decades ago and don't want to use their heads. also, windows look stupid so the aesthetic argument fails as well.
Windows in the Infinity universe are made of a substance that is as strong as metal. They're essentially just transparent areas of the hull. That, and the fact that windows are excellent for creating a sense of scale, is the justification behind adding windows to ships and stations.
probably in the future could be like this..good enough concept
