So- here's the game plan:
September 23
This is my personal deadling for finishing the first public demo, which will feature one campaign mission and one multiplayer gamemode. The multiplayer is online, however I will offer a very weird local multiplayer if people really want to play it.
The public demo will be going to the judges at MAGFest, who may or may not give me free exhibition space at MAGFest in January.
Early October
I will begin a Kickstarter campaign once I gather a good amount of media and material to show off. The game itself has a lot of content, but I have to start filming it and presenting it well.
The Kickstarter campaign will not have a very high goal, as the cost of running this project is pretty low. I do want to seek payment for my soundtrack artist and cover some additional costs, such as a booth at MAGFest.
October - December
This time will be spent working on the game, and hopefully completing it. I plan to release a new build every two weeks for my Kickstarter backers. At the rate I have been developing, this amount of time feels like enough to finish.
Early January 2015
I'll determine if the release date needs to be moved. Otherwise, I'll confirm the original estimate - January 23.
