Ctrl Alt Ego is Overwhelmingly Positive on Steam
Since its quiet July 2022 launch Ctrl Alt Ego has been sneaking its way into the public consciousness stream, and it's managing it mostly through word of mouth because either it's that or it's my marketing skillz and I'm pretty sure it's not that.
The game recently achieved Overwhelmingly Positive status on Steam, and it has been called in various quarters a modern classic and a top tier immersive sim.
Some are even putting it right up there with the likes of Deus Ex, Thief and System Shock.
Like those immersive sim classics, Ctrl Alt Ego encourages you to play your way and get creative with its innovative game mechanics - as one reviewer wrote recently "The most powerful and unusual feeling that the game gives is the satisfaction of curiosity." It's something new, fresh and intriguing, and it goes deep with sci-fi themes involving the future of human consciousness.
Ctrl Alt Ego New Game+ Has Arrived
The main purpose of this post was not to boast about how well the game is being received, but really to announce that a recent major update has added New Game+, giving veterans the opportunity to play through with a new gravity manipulation ability as well as various new surprises along the way.
Here's a sneak peak of that:
And here's the NG+ lowdown:
The game is currently 40% off on Steam - and there's a beefy DEMO available on Steam too.
