Sarge127 made some epic gun models for me:) This is the Enfield Rifle all finished up, and textured (I think). Looks epic, doesn't it!!
Keep it up Sarge.
Now I need to make a Enfield SFX..
Lol its finished, but i didn't think it get show cased right away... Anywho back to work.
Sorry, I just thought it looked amazing so I had to put it up XD
Fancy
lets just hope it doesnt come out all f***ed up when we convert it to quake
Any incredible model converted to quake comes out like crap.
no, look at the CoW Tommy Gun
im not using MDL in CoW.
Oh. Sorry i did not know that
Well, if the coder could do something about texture sizes its possible to keep it as is. Finding an Export for quakes MDL is kind of hard... Used to be under my nose but now in this day and age its impossible.
If you're using blender, then I have a MDL exporter that I can use if you give me the .blend. If not then i don't know what to do. I could also probably find a way to upscale the texture sizes allowed in the quake engine.
I use 3ds max, blender doesn't have the best UV Unwrapper...
Yes, I find blenders UV unwrapper is a hard concept to grasp. Hmm maybe you can export to a format that blender can open.. or I could do some research and try to find a mdl converter for 3ds:)
i use 3dsmax too but im working with MD2, and the MD2 exporter works fine :)
Thanks mabuse:)
so true
it looks like a musket :/
no ****-_-
