How do you Mod Warcraft II Dawn of War? Thread

I'm sorry, I mean the first one...Warcraft Dawn of War (won't let me edit the title for some reason). I'm also sorry because this has had to have been covered elsewhere, probably in depth, but I can't find anything on it...nothing at all, anywhere at all. Google, Nexus, Moddb, the only tutorials I see are for about how to go about creating mods, not how to go about modding the game itself.

I bought it solely for the purpose of modding it after hearing about how great of a project its become, so would greatly appreciate any direction to any information anywhere lol
