The best one I like is "Combat-tough" from Wizardry 8 by Kevin Manthei
However, there are many more I like. I think it'll take a too long list to mention them all...

My favorite soundtrack in gaming is probably EarthBound's OST. It's a nice sounding SNES game.

There's alot of good soundtracks for video games out there. But I think my favorite would have to be
Jet Set Radio's soundtrack for the Dreamcast. I still listen to that game's music regularly.

I have a lot of favorite. From my childhood: Super Mario Bros. and Tiny Toon Adventures. From our times: Mafia's 1st and 2nd, GTA VC/SA, Fallout 3.

Some of my favorite older OSTs are from Super Metroid, Final Fantasy Tactics, Xenogears. A couple of my more recent favorites are Binding of Isaac and Child of Light.

Confession: I'm a little bit of an OST collector. When I buy a game, if there's a bundle that comes with the soundtrack, I'll usually buy it even if I have no idea what the music sounds like. I have soundtracks I haven't listened to for games I haven't played... I might have a problem.

For me, it's a tie between Silent Hill 2 and Final Fantasy X.

Yes, I did play the hell out of my PS2. :P

I started down a path of trying to find every video game soundtrack on Spotify and ended up with 13,000+ tracks over a couple of playlists. It's a very interesting listen to chuck it on shuffle and just skip your way through!

Video Game Music 1

Video Game Music 2

And if that seemed like a little too much to trawl though, I've done my own personal 'Top Picks'.

(Although Silent Hill 2 would naturally be very high on this list, if they were still on Spotify!)

The 1999 Medal Of Honor on PS will always have a special place in my heart.

Along with DKC2, Maui Mallard, Halo, and Killzone 2

Excellent choice, love that game too. Great story.

It has to be Freelancer for me. Perfectly designed for that game. So well suited.

My favorite game soundtrack would have too be Mega Man 2, or Mega Man X. I love the music from this franchise, and feel that it is what help make the game so great.

I love any generic NES soundtrack, but my all time has to be the DOOM I and II soundtracks. I love hearing those kick-ass songs while slaying some demons!

Final Fantasy Tactics kind of went underneath everyone's radar I dont know why. It was a great game. Its close between that and Final Fantasy VI's
Also FTL has a cool quirky soundtrack.

My favorite soundtracks come from many games but just to name a few: RAVE and GTR attack from Contra Hardcorps (there's remixed version of GTR in Contra ReBirth), Wave 123 and 4th stage music (forget the title) from Streets of Rage 2, Daredevil from Contra 3 and one boss battle theme from Super Mario RPG. There are more but I forgot the list
