Download of Empire II not completing Thread

Hiya I am trying to download the Empire 2 Total war Mod. Moddb.com

The problem I have is the download keeps having an issue, I have tried resume download several times but it always comes back with an error and doesnt complete. The download is 20.6gb and downloads quite slowly but I dont think it's timing out, seem to take around 45 mins.

I thought I did get the full download the first time I tried but when I tried to use the .exe file after unpacking it asked for a disc. I checked the info and I saw if the request for disc comes up the download was missing something. So I deleted and tried downloading again, then tried downloading again with my antivirus off. Then tried the alternate drive main files link. I have tried each several times.

I am now trying the split files available from the google drive to try that.

Is there something I need to do to ensure correct download? Any suggestions would be helpful thankyou

-I think that downloads has time limit(timed key), so if download stooped for some reason, enter the folder with game data and rename that file(just rename cash file) to it, then activate that same download and after few seconds, pause it, then delete that new download and return the original name of previous download and then resume download at global. This trick excellently working on Mozilla Firefox, and it working right now for me. If you don't understand what I`m talking about, it`s right. You will understood on your own, but not today.
