Does anyone else find themselves tweaking their ingame text for literal hours at a time? Thread

Recently i've been trying to move my game in a more story focused direction and i've found myself tweaking the same bit of dialogue for literal hours. Is this common or is it just because i'm new to this?

Even, just this bit here, I spent , way too long making small tweaks to it to create the right personality for the character.

I'ts my first time ever doing something story rich so its crazy how much of a time sync making dialogue is.
