Can we keep the headlines page out of politics? Thread

Main thing I check at moddb daily is the headlines page, latest one at the moment is highlighting a long-winded political rant that was posted to a C&C Generals mod. There is some mod news tucked away in the post at the end, but it's just some political soap boxing. Whether or not I or anyone else agrees or disagrees with the mod author's opinions, I'd only suggest we keep the highlights page to mod news. Myself and probably a lot of others come here just for mods, it'd be best if the politics stays on twitter.
