A new year with new possibilities! Even for the doctor at the mine. His name is Franck, and he's constantly occupied with tending to and bandaging the injured workers from the mine.
Doctor Franck is an eccentric, stressed individual who mostly spends his time at the hospital, but every now and then, he heads to the local pub, 'The Howling Owl,' to refill his jug with new 'medicine.' The doctor is thrifty and demands various discounts from the pub owner, Mats, often leading to conflicts over this and that.
In the pub scene of the game, you, as the player, have the chance to engage with several of the pub's regulars. Your task is to blend in and convince them that you belong in their group. These regulars, set in their ways, aren't easily convinced. However, offering them a beer can help break the ice and improve the atmosphere. Through these interactions, you'll gradually work your way into becoming a regular, deepening your connection with the game's characters and storyline.
Our main character, The Miner, who previously lived outside the town, occasionally received visits from the doctor to check on the Miner's sick mother. These visits, laden with concern and care, form a backdrop to the unfolding story. As you progress, you piece together fragments of your mother's journal, uncovering deeper narratives and revealing the secrets hidden within the mine.
Happy continuation! 'The Mine' will be released on Steam on January 26th, and I can't wait to show off my game and what I've created during the years I've worked on this project.
