Guns n' Robots

Starting with two coders from cloud nine, Stray Circuit solves problems in as unconventional of means as possible, looking for ways to make our game design conform to what we build rather than building to what our game design requires. We do this partially as a time saving mechanism, finding ways to reuse gameplay systems and mechanics we have already created. We also use this technique to create a unique experience that is highly cohesive and greater than the sum of its parts. The parts come together to create a set of gameplay mechanics that more closely represent a living thing than a set of self-contained, regulated experiences.
After we have found a set of mechanics that interact well with each other, we focus on making each gameplay mechanic able to deliver emotional experiences. We believe emotional experiences come less from the quality of moments in time and more from how moments in time are strung together, and this means focusing on the way things move and change.
