Founded by Lateef Martin in 2013, Miscellaneum Studios is a Montreal based multimedia company dedicated to providing innovative entertainment from comic books to games, music, events and more while featuring marginalized communities in a positive light.
We are of the belief that everyone can be a hero and push the importance of representation on both sides of the screen. We're here to tell stories and our first time doing so is with a near apocalyptic future comic series, Z'Isle, based on a fictional version of Montreal called Island City.
Our first video game, Distraction Machine, takes place during the seven years immediately after the catastrophic event that leads to some of the events seen in our comic series.
