The development continues and we finally got a roadmap done for the game! Improved networking and a fresh new map!

Hey boys and girls!

This post will be a bit shorter then usual due to the progress been "slow" this week. We experienced some network issue with clients taking way to long time to connect. This was due to the terrain generation was a bit sloppy done.

This is now fixed by scrapping the old terrain and creating a new one from scratch. The new on fixed the client connection issue and looks alot better!

We also gotten a few things done one the networking side. Mostly on the drop pod system but also some new features for the crafting and some overall network improvements.

The new map will be there for atleast the closed playtest and depending on the results of that test things might change.

We also created a roadmap to show you guys what the plan is for the development and the release plan of Obitus.

As of now the current plan is to hit alpha release by the 4 quarter this year and then final release something in the first quarter of next year. Development wise we are on schedule and hoping to finish the combat early in Q2.

With family life and work and summer coming this might all change but we are looking very good on it so far!
