Lovely :)
Lovely :)
Glad to see more folks commenting and getting in on this cool game :)
I think that's a smart move!
Amazing update!
Gotcha. Was just curious if you'd see reactions to stuff or something. I really like the tame smile and curious look he's sporting in the concept art, but he's (as is standard) rather blank in the final texture.
Awesome! Do you ever see his face close up in game?
I think you won't have much issue at all!
Not that this is totally relevant but, have you played Diablo 3? Best mix of 3d and 2d assets I've ever seen.
3D is always nice if you can manage it. Interesting concept with the boat being like a rocket and him in a space suit.
Thanks :) Hoping to do some more detailed ones in the coming weeks. Seem to be a decent way to garner attention pre-kickstarter.
Thanks :D Going to be crazzzyyyy!
Groovy as usual! All the recent gifs. Should post a video sometime so we can see how smooth it is.
Camera position seems pretty innovative to me, so cool!
Looks incredible! And looks like you guys are getting the attention you deserve :)
Looks great! Excited for this to take off your you guys!
Each character has 2 tells, which are visually different. Tells don't always indicate someone has cheated. The first tell indicates it 50% of the time, and the second tell indicates it 90 % of the time. The more you cheat, the more likely your 90% tell will happen, and more often.
The reason we did it this way is so that seeing someone's tell doesn't necessarily mean they cheated (could be a false tell). We're still testing this of course and it will probably need some fine tuning.
Turns are timed, something like...10-15 seconds, if it runs out you "hold".
So, there's a lot to think about in the 15 seconds you're allotted. Do I try and spot a tell? Do I accuse them? Do I draw? Do I hold? Do I cheat?
We just started programming these gameplay mechanics so lots of this is going to get tested and proven (or thrown out) very soon!
In which case, I suggest they become accountants :P
Thanks man! I hope cheating turns out to be quite fun.
Bo's Bluff isn't meant to win any awards, but hopefully it's fun enough to generate some revenue for us while we slave away at Grimslingers.
Awesome, nothing is more annoying in a puzzle game than a limited amount of tries.
Sometimes....it seems like developers want to make money more than they want to make fun.
Well I guess I'm not doing such a bad job at keeping up with the game as I thought :P
Very well thought out. I'm impressed with the attempt to have no "filler" content.
Quick question. How exactly dot he puzzles relate to the story at hand? I'm sure you've covered this previously, but humor me!
That should look nice :)
Gorgeous animation :)
Sounds groovy man!
Think this is my fav so far. Love the amber glow.
It'd be free with interstitial ads. Part of it will be to practice monetization and see what people are into and not (like purchasing character portraits).
I don't expect us to make much from it. The biggest reason for it at the moment is to practice cross-platform multiplayer using google play services for iOs and Android. If we can get that working...it's gonna be awesome! (and I think we will).
Simple but has such a great mood. I feel like rowing around in Observatorium would put me to sleep...in a good way :P. Seems relaxing but challenging...Kind of like Two Dots (but hopefully without the annoying F2P time limits).
