Mod looks excellent. Awesome song, by the way. What is it?
This is such an awesome project. I just thought I'd show my support. I've been following this for some time and am just astounded by how much work you're putting into it.
It's been a while since I've checked this project out and boy am I happy to see the progress you've made. The music is fantastic, the level progression seems to make wonderful sense, and the minimalist style is just beautifully executed. I really hope this makes it to steamworks.
I love the eyes in this mod.
Man you should really use this engine to make a game with a story. It somewhat reminds me of the Shadowrun game on the Sega Genesis, but much better looking.
Wow this looks pretty awesome. I like the music too.
That's strange. I actually like the wall. There are some strange-looking bits, but the style is aesthetically pleasing.
Jesus! This looks hard as hell!! Keep it up.
They have contacted Steam and are optimistic, last I heard.
Technically, by using their service you are providing them with business. I know that certain payment services get a small percentage of the total purchase, so I imagine the same holds true for those two. I also understand and respect Theon's decision to boycott the companies. I see that they have the Google checkout option available, so I'm wondering why that would be a problem.
I love that you guys do this. I hope like hell that this will become an annual thing. I thoroughly enjoy watching the donations climb as the days progress.
I can tell English isn't your first language. I could help edit the dialogue in this game as well as your others if you'd like. I don't know how the dialogue is compiled but if you could send me a script that would be awesome. If not, I'll just play through it and send you the edits. PM me and let me know if you're interested in this.
This looks pretty cool. You should get somebody else to test the multiplayer with you though so that we can see how it really works.
She looks reptilian. Would a reptile need breasts? I don't think so.
Something has got to be done about the song. The chords in the harmony consist of the same interval the entire time. There needs to be at least some harmonic variety. Actually, there appears to be some in the middle of the song. A few chords, at least. I think one of the problems is that the synth sounds are extremely poor. Excepting of course the very final bell sounds. Other than that, this game looks pretty awesome.
I hate to revive the feathered dino debate, but Ralok does have a point. It's pretty well-accepted now that many dinosaurs had plumage. Here's one of many articles on the subject: http://www.nytimes.com/2010/02/05/science/05dino.html
I'm not sure what problem there is with the name Niger for a city. It evokes the Niger river and Nigeria and, well, Niger, for me. I don't really understand what you're trying to imply. I hope that it isn't an illustration of how poor your spelling is and how ignorant your geography is.
Hahahahaha! Oh man! Wonderful definition of "not."
Dude. Your math is still atrociously incorrect. You do know there are only 24 hours in a day, right?
Blackmodeler is correct. Most of what you probably think is parkour is actually freerunning. There is a very strong distinction between the two philosophies, in fact. Parkour, for instance, at it's true core values is completely devoid of the flipping and gymnastics that you see in freerunning. This is because the gymnastics are a monumental waste of energy. In parkour efficiency is one of the most important things to keep in mind. Climbing is definitely an important facet of parkour. In fact, something as ordinary as swimming is also a facet of parkour. Conside this situation: A river stands between you and your destination, but there is a bridge five kilometers to the east. Parkour would have you dive into the river and swim to the other bank rather than wasting time and energy walking five kilometers to the bridge. If you had a long bamboo pole with which you might vault, if not from one bank to the other, then from one bank to the middle of the river, that too would be considered parkour. Freerunning, on the other hand, is more about style and less about the efficiency of movement. It's frustrating to see these two terms used interchangeably because that philosophy of parkour is completely lost. And it's really the philosophy of parkour that makes it an incredibly important exercise.
I'm not seeing which figures represent what. That's also pretty terrible math, by the way. Where is sleep figured in? And studying? Judging by your math skills I assume that there is no time for studying, which means that it's essential that others should include it, otherwise they'll end up with math as bad as yours. Let's do this a little bit more logically, shall we? When I was in high school we had class from 7:00 until 3:15, so that's 8.25 hours. You work out 2 hours a day. You should probably study at least 2. Let's say you hang out with your girlfriend 2 hours a day. And then you have to sleep 8 hours. That looks like 22.25 hours to me. I'm pretty sure you'd waste the other hour and forty-five minutes eating and ********.
Are you going to replace the weapon with some arm animations and maybe full body awareness for some running animations, vaulting, and climbing animations?
Something about the color is not right. Extremely high contrast? I'm not sure. Maybe it needs to look a bit more organic.
Very good-looking game. I can't believe how fluid it all looks. The fighting mechanics are simple and graceful which I very much like. It looks like players will have to think carefully about their moves rather than just button mashing. Great work.
Glad to test it. Yours is my favorite of all of the Oryx tile and character set roguelikes. I'll play the updated version and let you know if I find any more bugs.
Is this a double-barreled pistol? Would one hammer be able to fire two shots?
Edit: Oh. I think I see that the lower area that I'd thought was a barrel is closed. Cool design.
THat's interesting that you name the civilization Lemuria. Do you know the theory about Lemuria?
Disagree. I probably won't buy New Vegas for at least a year after its release. Therefore this mod is very much desirable.
