Im on holiday, but will make a short answer.
1: Aye, every item have both quality and durability, and even more attributes the describe the item, such as sophistication and intimidation etc.
2: We havn't decided yet. We have a few "death" scenarios on the drawing board. Death WILL however be very severely punished.
3: Yes, you are absolutly right. We do however have more values describing the relationship.
4: Donation is very welcome, but right now we focus on developing, and havnt had much time to look into how donation works :)
5: Next time we release a video, we'll start to release maybe monthly vids.

Not much visual happening atm, because all avaiable free time, goes into the editor. We are pretty exicted about it, and it will, in the future, speed up test and creation of new objects in the game.
We have bugs on drawing board. Dont know if it will be fully implemented as we would like to.
Regarding the weather system, it will affect all plants and animals (in the sense that a frog dont live in ice winter). Did you have other things in mind?
We will. But dont know, if you know the feeling, that you want as much as you can in the next video as possible. Much of the code written is "hidden" SI stuff (Simulated intelligence), and vegetation growth. But ofc there are lots of new "actions" you can see, and graphical features we want to show... When we have the next video, we will make new small videos, as seen the Overgrowth project.
Love the "look" of the game. The old c64 style imo. And the music, it just takes me back. Very good work :)

Our near-exact date for a downloadable version, is now. But we dont want to release it as it is now. We still move around with code-modules, this are NOT stable and we want more features implemented before we start to announce realease dates (which maybe will end up like the Diablo 3 and Duke nuke'em dates) ;)
But, we are dedicated to the project, and last week our Botanist teammate came with news ideas to the eco system, so that will prob be next milestone.
The news are, we are developin our *** off :)
The reason why, we dont throw new screens on, is that it is engine stuff, that is beeing implemented.

Thanks for the kind comments - we work hard to implement features. Right now, we work on the SI (Simulated Intelligence) and different player/npc actions.
Detail in graphics are low priority in this phase. But you will see more deatil, when you actually play it. Leaves falling from trees and swaying foilage. Textures will be more deatiled, when we ahve the time to create new ones. Those you see is taken from a free-to-use site. More textures will also be used. Time will come :)
