Puzzledorf Coming to XBox!

I’m very excited to announce that Puzzledorf will soon be releasing on XBox Series X / S and XBox One consoles! The demo is currently live to play right now on XBox! See it here.

Already released on Steam and Atari VCS to positive customer reviews, Puzzledorf is a block-pushing puzzle game where you push different coloured blocks (with colourblind options available) around puzzle mazes, trying to find the solution. With various different bright and colourful worlds, Puzzledorf is a fun way to exercise your brain whilst immersing yourself in the vibrant, 2D art. It will also include Achievements upon the XBox release.

For those familiar with Puzzledorf, you will notice the above teaser trailer has new graphics. It’s now more colourful than ever with relaxing waterfalls. Here’s a quick preview from some of the levels:

Getting Puzzledorf ready for XBox has been a massive undertaking, with far more complexities than I first appreciated, even with using an engine like Unity. But I have greatly appreciated the massive support I’ve received from XBox staff, helping me all the way through, and Unity have also offered stellar support. As a solo developer, that makes a huge difference, feeling like you have others behind you supporting you.

It’s been great getting Puzzledorf on Steam, then to be the 100th game released on Atari VCS, a console which seems to be continuing to grow in strength, and now XBox, with plans to release on more major consoles in the future. The new graphics will be releasing on existing platforms soon, and Puzzledorf is planned to release fully on XBOX sometime in Q1 2024.

After the XBox release, aside from working on other console ports, I plan to slowly work on some extra content for Puzzledorf, but with a renewed focus on working on my next game, which is expected to be an RPG / dungeon crawler. It’s still in the early prototype phase but I hope to be able to announce more later in the year.
