LEMUR FEVUR is a game where the goal is to collect as much fruit, and thus points, as you can before the timer expires. By collecting consecutive pieces of fruit, and depositing them in your tree you gain a larger score multiplier (up to a maximum of 8), but if one falls over the edge then your multiplier breaks. It's a game of timing and judgement - can you make it to the edge before the fruit falls? Help Larry the Lemur catch enough fruit to live like a king by challenging yourself and your friends in LEMUR FEVUR.

After several months of team building, pre-production and development today we unveil not only the STARTUP GAMES website, but a playable proof of concept of our upcoming title LEMUR FEVUR.

Originally designed for entry into the EDGE Create Challenge 2012, in association with Unity, LEMUR FEVUR is a quirky points based scoring game under development for PC and iOS.Our early build, available on our LEMUR FEVUR hub, gives you control over Larry – a lemur who must scamper and collect as much fruit as he can before the timer expires. The more fruit you collect, the higher your multiplier goes. If you let a piece of fruit fall over the edge however, the multiplier resets and your current total adds to your overall score.

As a proof of concept we hope you’ll find it entertaining for the few minutes it takes to play a round, but make no mistake as we’re listening to all of your feedback so have a few plays, hit the feedback link and fill out the form with your suggestions.

This is only the beginning for Larry so in order to keep up to date with his adventures why not follow the games official Twitter feed.

Thanks for stopping by, and we hope you enjoy this first taste of what’s to come from the team at STARTUP GAMES.
