BATTLE CITY REMAKE is a remake of the original game produced and published by Namco at the year 1985. The game is a multi-directional shooter where you control a tank that must destroy all 20 enemies in each stage to advance to the next level. The enemy tanks on the other side attempt to destroy the player's base as well as the player. The 35 levels from the game have been created maintaining the same layout and level of destruction of the original game.

Я в восторге от данной игры, окунулся в детство, но с новыми впечатлениями. Спасибо автором этого ремейка. Но в моей памяти в старых танках были еще определенные моменты, если конечно я что то не перепутал:
1. За 20к очков давалась жизнь.
2. После сбора трех звездочек - танк мог пробивать бетон.
3. Можно было у напарника подрезать жизнь, если свои все проиграл.
Если я ошибаюсь, то извините. Игра огонь.

Раньше было так, если ты потратил все свои жизни, а у твоего товарища еще жизней больше, чем одна, то при нажатии кнопки старт, у товарища вычиталась жизнь, а твой танк появлялся.

У нас ещё была версия игры где:
1) был значок "пистолет" - давал преимущество, как будто игрок взял сразу 3 звёзды
2) был "корабль" - позволял ездить по воде и пропадал при первом попадании от противника (жизнь при этом не расходовалась)
3)противник тоже мог брать знаки преимущества - эффект был противоположный. Например если противник взял часовую мину, то я и напарник застывали.
