Battle City Remake is a remake of the original game produced and published by Namco at the year 1985. The game is a multi-directional shooter where you control a tank that must destroy all 20 enemies in each stage to advance to the next level. The enemy tanks on the other side attempt to destroy the player's base as well as the player.
The remake contains all the original 35 stages of the game, but with improved graphics. Like always the idea of our remake is improve the game visuals, but keep the gameplay the most close possible to the original game.

Hi everyone!
The new version 1.3 is now available and can be download here. This new version add multi-language support to the game, you can check this new feature in the main menu under the OPTIONS section. The current languages available are English and Spanish. If you want to share your language file with us, please send me a message to add your translation into the game.
If you want to create a new language pack, you can check the language files on the path "\Battle City Remake_Data\Resources\lang\" the files are in plain text and can be opened with notepad. If your language require unicode support change the value of FONT_UNICODE to "1" inside the language file.
Also, this update includes a small change to the gameplay, the delay between shoots when you reach star level 2 or more has been shortened to stay close to the original Battle City gameplay.

Hi Could you please create a version of the battle city 1990 where the nes has a-n levels and in each level different powers are their. For e.g.: power to pass through water, gun power to update to full. Even the enemy tank can take the powerups. That is real fun to play. Can you please have that too in this new graphics. Check video for more details on that game.

Hi, i find some bugs:
1.enemy tank can shoot after dead
2.after turn by 90 degr player's tank move to forward
3.the player's hitbox is much larger than his model
The game provides for changing the control buttons, but in fact this function unfortunately does not work (v1.3.x, v1.4). When I click on the change control button, I can't set another one - the game seems to hang in the waiting mode for pressing a new button, but it does not respond to keyboard clicks.
Because of this, it is impossible to play the game together on gamepads :-( …
Moreover, it is not possible to configure even using Xpadder, because pressing left/right on one gamepad of player 1 leads to an up/down trigger for player 2.
I'm going to try to fix this problem, but It's a little more complicated than it seems.
I solved this problem super easy! Just install the "AntiMicro" (free at Microsoft Store) to map any controller (assign the buttons to the keys). So my cheap NES controllers work perfectly fine! 2 players having fun.
Здравствуйте!!! Вы меня отправили в далекое детство лет на 20 назад. Играя в игру в голове происходили флешбэки того времени. Я вам очень благодарен за этот труд. Если бы у вас не было проблем с авторскими правами, я бы его с удовольствием купил. Играл с другом и залипали в игру. В версии 1.4 играя на двоих нам часто выпадала, лопата или граната, это так устроено? И еще в оригинале можно было взять жизнь друга. И еще выпадала лодка чтоб по воде можно было ездить и не скользить по льду. А еще был перк чтоб снаряды срубал лес.
