1. What's New?

  • Bug Fixes
    • Minor bugs, such as entering a blocked region of the map via stepping on other objects, has been fixed.
  • Flashlight balancing
    • For more intense game experience, our team made adjustments to the flashlight timing. Now the player has to be more wary of the battery.

  • Contextual improvements
    • Our team noticed that some parts of the game were not contextually complete. We have included more contextual cues to hint the player when they are in danger.

  • Tutorial
    • In order to address players not going through the controls, our team have implemented a tutorial at the beginning of the game to familiarize players with the controls.

  • Ending Scene Improvements
    • Our team thought the current true ending scene is not a perfect match for the game atmosphere. We thereby made a new design for the scene.
  • Save points
    • Our team noticed that the difficulty of the game can vary greatly depending on the player. Therefore, we have devised a save point system that, when the player dies, the player can resume the game from the last save point.

2. What's the motivation?

Our team believes that removing bugs and adding juicy elements to the game is critical in creating a realistic environment. In order to give the players the scariest parking lot experience, we are giving our best shot to make the game as realistic as possible.

Also, since the game is now in its gold production, we made a few changes to make the game not only a horrifying experience, but also a complete package. We have therefore included a tutorial and improved ending scenes that can make the game experience more emerging.

3. What's next?

The development process is in its gold stage, and all implementations we have imagined has been realized. Now it is the player's turn to give the best shot to successfully escape the parking lot.
