A small update to AU: Abandon, a procedurally generated survival space game made in 6 weeks. The update contains various bug fixes.
This is an update to AU: Abandon, a simple survival game set in procedurally generated star systems.
The game focuses on combining realistic space flight mechanics with fuel management and the need to survive and evade an unknown danger.
The game was made in 6 weeks for a 1 month project. For more information about the conclusion of this project take a look at this article.
Notes:
- If you're experiencing frame rate issues try pausing the game (ESC) and then toggling dust clouds off.
- Music and sound may be added to the game soon.
- A Mac version should be released soon.
Updates to v1.0.1:
- Fixed mouse not locking when playing the game which causes issues for multi-screen users.
- Added watermark to the game for copyright use.
- Fixed pause menu confirmation warnings not clearing when clicking on another button.
- Fixed possible bug with pause menu buttons not being active.
