Build your own fully functional robots and use them to slide, crawl, roll and fly your way through a large interconnected puzzle-world. Collect components such as wheels and rockets. Re-wire controls and change the configuration at any time during play to solve the puzzles at hand. Infiltrate the factories of the Mobiloid Corporation. Level design is Metroid-inspired, ie. folded on itself and progress made by exploration and power-up.

The feedback from last week's Mobiloid release has been overwhelming, and despite a single 1/10 score the average rating is back up to 8.5. No less than 60% of users have given it a straight 10/10!

Based on bug reports from players I decided to fix a few issues:

  • A number of collision bugs (caused bumps or even crashes when touching a bad spot)
  • A crash-bug when using the Spring directly on the Battery alone
  • Achievements on highscore table did not scroll
  • Improved completion % calculations

There are still a few known issues under investigation:

  • Script error sometimes when re-attaching to a latched orb
  • Achievement registration can fail due to unknown circumstances (rare)
  • Dying while attached to the Core (un-detached) can mess things up
  • The Spring sinks slowly down before first jump
