Today Minefield was released for Windows Phone in over 160 countries worldwide. The game is available for free on all Windows Phone 8 devices.
Minefield spawned as a simple weekend project that turned into a week-long and eventually two month game. With it's original gameplay you can explore the difficulty and skill required in games like Minesweeper without having to constantly manipulate your screen to browse the game board.
Minefield for Windows Phone includes 8 achievements and a leveling system that allows you to reach up to rank 50. Upon reaching the 50th rank all ads are removed from the game and you are free to play without ads for the rest of your time using Minefield.
