GAMEPLAY
Over the past few months we've been steadily adding features to make the mod replayable. You probably already know about attachments.
Shop
The shop is basically your typical arms dealer. The player has cash he can acquire from dead enemies, and with that he can select the guns he really wants. The attachments will all be avaliable to purchase, so you can totally customize your gun to your liking.
Inventory
The player will be able to store various items (attachments, health boosts, flares, etc.) within his inventory. This is currently working in a script file which looks like so....

This allows mappers to create whatever item they want, with whatever effect they want.
Perks
The main highlight of this release is the perks system. Not a simple list of stat boosts, each perk falls within a "tech-tree" of sorts, allowing the player to change his play style based on what he feels.
Survival is all about keeping alive, most of the improvements focus on health/damage reduction (this is what to choose if you want to use a shotgun/flamethrower or something that would attract a lot of fire)
Leadership is all about using NPC's and not yourself. Most of the upgrades buff your followers.
Marksman is for the base gameplay. eg. tactical shooting. It's a combination of perception and weapon handling. Improvements focus on gunplay.
Fitness is about moving around and acrobatics. That might sound weird, but there's alot of exploration and climbing of buildings.
Universal is just anything really. It suits most classes.
After each level up you'll gain 1 perk point (you'll be able to max out 2 trees)
Level 5 may or may not be scrapped. Post suggestions below if you have any.
USER INTERFACE
Source has been out for 6 years now. Anyone who plays HL2 mods EVER will realise that every mod has the same old left hand menu, with the same old options and dialogue. To give our mod a bit more of an immersive and impressive feeling, we're trying to de-sourcify everything.
To achieve this, we've totally redesigned the menu. Thanks to John Stuart's amazing UI skills, we've created a menu which works completley independant of source. A video is here (we've added labels down the bottom since)
WEAPONS
Since most of the weapons are done we haven't got much here to show. IHazard has created a M14 (to replace our lost SKS. RIP ) which will be uploaded tommorow, and Nocturne has done a good job of creating a Chrome CZ75. Also Foda has been kind enough to lend me his flamethrower code. It spawns fire where you shoot, very cool.

Oh and there's a new Eotech attachment too.
Sn1pe re-rigged the hands for us, and despite some controversy he's been working on new animations. Unfortunatley he doesn't want them posted here (WIP) , so you'll see them sometime in the future!
MAPS
Since I've been coding and doing other work, I've had no time to map. However, Shirk (who I had a bit of an altercation with in the past) has proven himself to be an amazing mapper and has totally redeemed himself.
Me and Nocturne teamed up to create this bar here. This is where the player can buy his new weapons, find side missions.
And an IED test.

Certainly is effective. Almost has too much force behind it, but the sound of the explosion is perfect ! A great idea using IED's.
I just cant stop watching that IED test. Amazing work there.

P.S. - Love the features list now that I've taken a closer look at it. Also, I say to " de-sourcify " to you hearts content. The farther off you can go, the better !
