Cobalt Runner's on it's way back, for the PS Vita this time around :)
Some changes have been decided upon, some pretty huge gameplay decisions. The new premise is that of a social game, more or less. You create levels by placing objects ala Trackmania or Modnation Racers, and then can race against people online for global high scores or just chill out and play game modes as the map cycle rotates through user generated maps.
Engine's made from the ground up using the public PS Vita SDK.
Anyway, the video I'm about to show you is about 5~6 days into development after rigging up the basic framework for the rest of the game. I had just added the wallrunning mechanic before recording this, check it out!
Unfortunately, the only way to record off-device was to use my iPhone camera. I'll have some crisper shots soon enough, though.
Really excited for this again, stay tuned and I'll keep you guys updated.
can't wait for this on the vita
Yeah, but I would also like to play it on PC, it looks so amazing *-*
There might be an issue with licensing on the PSN where I won't be allowed to deploy it to other devices.
However, if this is not the case, you can expect a 360 and PC remake with XNA.
On second thought, **** the 360. I just remembered their licensing terms and requirements and I can't accept those terms.
this proves the ps3 is just as good as a xbox lol
Yeah... Microsoft is really good at being pig-headed.
Glad to hear you're gonna make a killer-app for the PS Vita though.
pretty cool man, did not expect this
Only vita?
This would make me buy one
only vita?? :(
ok ill buy it already :D
That looks awesome. It's also funny because i'm working on a similar game which looks nearly the same as Cobalt Runner (in Gameplay as in Graphics). XD
I'm going to keep an eye on this. ;)
Oh my god, breadsticks is back! :D
I'm so glad this is back. I was just thinking the other day about how this mod looked so good and It was shocking when it died.
This is going to be epic on the vita. :D
Please, Keep all thoughts and efforts on the psvita. Its about time the psvita gets something amazing for once....
