Audioid is an advanced mobile electronic music rhythm composer for Android™, combining drum machines similar to the mythical TR-808 and TR-909, two legendary TB-303-like basslines acting as groove-boxes and an interesting Metropolis (M185-like) sequencer linked to a dual oscillators; all coupled with real-time filters, effects, randomness and a live approach. The audio synthesis (virtual analog) is generated in real-time via RenderScript, a framework for running computationally intensive tasks at high performance on Android. The RenderScript runtime might parallelize work across all processors available on a device, such as multi-core CPUs or GPUs, lifting a heavy weight from the DSP processing part.
