Wow it's been a long time. I think I posted my first game on IndieDB over 12 years ago, when I opened the page of our very first game forma.8. During the years a lot changed for us, the industry and our studio, but I'm so happy to see that IndieDB is still here as reference point for indie game lovers.
So I decided to dust off my old account (hey it's still working, I just had to reset the password!), take a trip down memory lane and start creating the page for our new game: On Your Tail.
As our previous creation, On Your Tail is a deeply personal project. At first glance, it's a game about a young aspiring goat writer who finds herself playing detective in Borgo Marina, an idyllic yet mysterious holiday town on the beautiful Italian coast. But in reality it's a game about the summer holidays of our youth, and how important it is to move forward when you find yourself stuck in life. It's about two or three fleeting weeks of making new friends, having fantastic adventures and experiences before returning to your usual life.

We announced On Your Tail with our publisher Humble Games during the latest Nintendo Indie World in November 2023. It's been a fantastic moment for the whole team: we've been silently working on the game since March 2020, and everyone was so eaget to finally share what we've been working on.
So what is On Your Tail? It's difficult to describe in a few worlds, but let's say that it's a small 3d open world, narrative driven, investigative adventure with card based gameplay mixed with a vacation-sim /life-sim. The Nintendo Indie World commented gameplay should give you a good first idea of the game but... yep, there's a lot of stuff in the game to do and to experience, and we can't wait for you to try it out: we think this is such a unique blend, with new and interesting gameplay mechanics. 
The game will come out in 2024 on Nintendo Switch and PC, and we'll share as much informations as possible in the cominig months leading up to the release.
