When I saw you fighting that group I wondered, can a spear could penetrate more that one target?
this game will never be released as a full game, pre order costs way too much for what it is
U have to believe...
Come on face it, this game has been under work for at least 5 years maybe even more. it is STILL in alpha, not even beta
I honestly hope it is never finished. It just gets more and more stuff instead of just stopping and I don't have to pay any more money for the additional stuff!
The amount of work in the game is so enormous. Just this one update and all the animations and physics stuff he had to add/change may be more work than some little indie games have in the whole game. And this is just one single update. I think there have been over 100 updates now with new stuff. Love it!
hate to say this but the point of a finished game is that you pay for all of the stuff in the first place
you have to consider that the engine these guys are using was made from scratch by them, most likely with a very limited budget too. Considering what the engine is capable of, I think it's a fair price... you gotta somehow cover the expenses, you know?
Its only 30 bucks... if this game's play is half as fun as it looks I'd be willing to shell out more for it. It looks FUN, which is something most AAA games don't get anymore.
GOOD JOB!11111
Lol at that ending, i was like "oohhh s****" XD
And awesome, spears, my fav weapons after katanas
spears are definitely the more interesting of all the weapons but.. probably one of the most difficult to balance. A melee weapon with the greatest range, and greatest thrown weapon in terms of overall speed/damage. Honestly as much I like the idea of using a spear, a three bladed claw would be my favourite eventhough I know that it's unlikely for exotic weapons to make it into the game.. ah well I do really enjoy knife combat and occasionally swapping to something else.
I love this game but I wish you would get it on Steam Early Access. It would make it much easier to update and manage, I haven't played it for like a year.
There is SUM launcher that can download and update this game automatically. With this launcher you also get access to most of the community made maps and custom weapons and also objects.
We are bunnies. You will suffer!
;)
Just Realized: This specific game engine would be perfect for a star wars game. Think, remake of Jedi Academy or Dark Forces 2.
Really neat spear dynamics!
are you planning to have "dual wielding"?
From what I've seen it's already implemented, not for players though (i think). For example if you throw a one handed weapon at a bunny also wielding a one handed and it happens to catch it, it dual wields. I assume the same for the player, but an enemy has never thrown a weapon at me lol, and i've never had the opportunity of having 2 one handed weapons on the map at the same time.
Very cool!
