The release date for Epic Games Store is set! CounterAttack: Uprising will be available on the Epic Games Store January 11th, 2024 for $14.99 USD.
The release will coincide with the 1.1.4 update which brings several new improvements:
-Several Redesigned effects
-24 Epic Game Store Achievements
-Optimized Online Code
-And Various Fixes!
The fixes include incorrectly rotated text on vertical levels, missing localizations for some scenes, strange behavior on the Missile Destroyer's weapons, as well as some updated attachment descriptions. Saves now also save any capital ships that survived the previous stage!
The Epic Games Store release will support cross-platform online co-op, just like every other release of CounterAttack: Uprising. We're committed to maintaining cross-platform compatibility which means we need to release patches on all platforms simultaneously. This might not always happen, but so far every major patch has been released on all platforms on the same days.
After the Epic Games Store release we plan to update and rerelease the demo. Unless any major bugs or unexpected developments, 1.1.5 will coincide with the new demo release. We'll first release the demo here on IndieDB, on Steam and Nintendo Switch and go from there.
