I've added a bit more in the next image, but more is coming.. little floating "sub" levels and such.

Well, Arwencire the game will be launched for PC. And I'm sorry the graphical style I'm now aiming for isn't a mod for an AAA game. But that how the dice roll, and my time with skyrim was at an end. And yes this game has a completely minimal style , but diversity is the spice of live. And I'm enjoying myself thoroughly.
In the end I couldn't go around doing free stuff forever. At some point everybody has a change to make a living.. So if Skyrim had allowed payed mods,I'd happily be doing that.. but things don't always work out that way..
There will indeed be camera movement, probably centered on your current position shard..
Mostly for show, but who knows;)
@sinKing, there are some early play impressions on the TA thread
Forums.toucharcade.com
the game was ment to be tough as nails, its also a tribute to the ZX spectrum classic 3DDeathchase. So yeh;) We also found readability quite an issue when running at these speeds, but I think we found a reasonable balance.
Okey who linked this image, it is getting way too many views.. please look at another image now.. ;)
Yeh not having to touch xcode might also help ;)
Ooh and yes there is a audio fx and music volume slider, and a full graphics quality slider
Haha, you are right its highlt annoying,, audio mixing hasn't been done yet, neither has most of the audio.. I must admit I'm going for as much minion audio as possible. But its on a stroestring budget, but perhaps I can allocate some more to the random move order voices..
@guest, indeed Moonpath to Elsweyr, this is what came out of all the feedback and buzz from that.. a real motivator that that did so well.
@darkecho, thank you, don't forget to keep up 2 date on the beta on the Facebook.com page..
Well. I mostly post news items here on slideDB. But there's also some info on the shaders and such on Blog.littlechicken.nl
And indeed it's made with playmaker and Unity3d, but with an amount of regular C# coding
Spinejacks are usually found in the dungeons, there one of the few enemies you won't be able to chain, as they are basically only the remnants of a shadow. And thus being practically mindless leftovers..
Which model experia? Experia Z and Z1, definetly.. other experia depends on which model specifically.. Experia Mini, maybe.. gotta test
Thinking about 4.99 tops, no iaps or freemium,, Purchase once and get all the campaigns and add-ons I'll develop after release. Should ship with at least one big campaign, and several skirmish maps
Thanks, Sometimes its hard to choose;)
That's a good idea, but that means the unit cap will remain where it is. (12 units for the player, and 12 for the AI).
But a settings menu would be a good idea. I wonder If you can turn AA of and on from code.. I'm guessing you'd need to restart the app..
Initially the resources will be hardcoded in each map.. or at least a chance to find percentage. based on the specific tile.. The precise algorithm I haven't started on yet,, but autobalance is an option, but i'd rather level design it to get the flow of a level just right..
I have a simple level generator, and I might put time in that, and the generated level would require more complex resource code. For now I'm focusing on creating a working system ready for level designing and a first campaign. But that's about a month away i'm guestimating..
@koliup, thanks
I'm working on unit differentiation. Also new enemy units will also appear, now i'm still working on a limited common pool of enemies.
But the idea is that you fashion your own army from the souls and resources you find in the maps.. And each soul represents a unit type. So you basically scavenge an army together..
but its a top priority to get some sort of UI fix for recognizing your units from enemy units..
Thanks , thats exactly where I want it to be visceral. I always feel sort of silly when pplayig most rts games. Units slashing away for seconds when suddenly boom one unit wins. I imagine on a real medieval battlefield stuff goes a lot faster. Two guys go in and one comes out. Like a joust.
Curious to know what kind of devices you all would like to see this on, I've seen an nexus 7 (2012) request, and already tested on it,, personally testing on a note II and a Archos HD 97 tablet. Besides Ios, Ouya?
I must admit the DOF shader probebly wont roll on mobile devices.. ;( or perhaps only on latest gen..
the rest especially the enviroment shading is working fine however..
The shaders are indeed in-house. The only thing stock here is the DOF shader. We're testing that now if its fast enough on current gen mobile devices
