Hello ulasc!! Thanks for your comment! We currently use twitter a lot to post updates and images but we will be updating instagram too! Thanks for the advice! (:
Hello WasabiPeanut! Thanks a lot for the interest! It would be great to watch a video about Dungeons of Asfore edited by you! We will keep working on more content for the game. Good luck and don't hesitate to contact us anytime!
And they are deadly in Dungeons of Asfore, watch out! :D
Hello again whelpsound! Thanks a lot ! Stay tuned for more updates coming soon!
Hello kazumo! Long time no see! We are glad you are still around too. We plan to finish Lost Hope no matter what but in the meantime we are focusing on Dungeons of Asfore as the article states(which will benefit Lost Hope's development). We hope to count on your support and feedback. We will be back to Lost Hope's full time development soon, that is a fact. Thank you so much for your constant support since our first post!
Thanks! We already saw you art via Twitter and looks pretty good! We will update soon with more details about the development!
Thanks a lot! We use this art style a lot in our games and love to draw detailed environments. We are glad you like it!
Hello again BurezuWolf. We've had great progress so far! This will be a very detailed experience so we are aiming for a 2017 release date. We hope you keep following us all the way until the time comes! Regards!
The game is set in a city where you can explore various streets. Each street has its own set of buildings. You can walk at your own risk through the streets and explore the houses, buildings, stores and other structures in search of items or interact with the environment and other survivors. For gameplay reasons, some areas will only be accesible after you actually "unlock them"(progressing through the story, making decisions, getting an item...and so on).We want it to be as natural and fluid as possible so expect a lot of exploration in Lost Hope!
Thank you so much BurezuWolf!!That is a great reason to track something! :)
Thanks Armcoom!! We are trying to keep everything as fluid as possible! Expect more animations!
Hello kazumo! We have just edited the article an added more images of the original concept of the game. You can see how the idea evolved until we decided an art style that fits the story and gameplay we have in mind.
We are glad you like the first concept! We will consider the mini-game idea, it would be really fun for us to work on it.
We hope to see you next year too. Thanks for the best wishes. Your feedback is always useful, kazumo!
Hello kazumo, thanks! Most of the time we spent was designing how would this feature work correctly. In the end, we made a decision and the GIF images show the result. We are dealing with more technical stuff right now so we cannot update so often but we will post more stuff as soon as possible!
Thanks a lot gameartdevguy! We will definitely be posting more updates soon.
Thanks! We are working hard to make it better everyday!
Thanks a lot kazumo! Specially for your constant support. We will make sure to deliver you a great experience with Lost Hope!
Thanks Vladiskov! We are glad you like our work. Expect more updates soon!
Thanks zurumen! We want this to be a memorable experience for every player!
Thanks as always kazumo! We are still designing more characters. We want to create an interesting set of NPCs since the interaction with them will be an important part of the game.
Hello kazumo! Thanks, we are glad you noticed that detail. The turn animation was actually discussed a lot by us since without it the characters would look kind of flat (like a sticker) when changing direction. In Lost Hope, we want to create an immersive world so, in order to achieve that, we think details are necessary and are worth the time we invest drawing and programming then.
Thanks a lot n82! At the moment we are not looking for external help but we are curious about your drawing skills. Don't hesitate to send us any drawing/pixel art of yours so we can have an idea of your style.Feel free to contact us anytime!
Hello kazumo! It has been a long time, thanks for the welcome!
We are glad you like the tweaks, more updates are coming so stay tuned. Your feedback is always welcomed.
Hello again, kazumo! Lost Hope will have many moments where you will be able to fight the mutants or just evade them. Most of the mutants are vicious creatures that will not let you escape so easily and will start chasing you just like in the gif image.
Sorry for the super late response n82! Yes there will be other aspects, we are evaluating what you mentioned about the crafting system and being able to create things with materials you will find while exploring.
We will post more info regarding the subject in the future! Thanks for the feedback!
Thanks kazumo, glad you liked the dodge mechanic! It had been a while since our last update though. We will do our best to post more often!
Hello kazumo! Like in every project there are problems sometimes. Most of our problems are related to our free time which we use to develop Lost Hope. We need to be very focused with this because making a videogame requires a lot of time and effort. We are glad that we have the knowledge to make this game (we are also learning a lot while making it!) so even if we have to sacrifice some sleep and other aspects of our daily life, it is a fact that we are finishing Lost Hope no matter what! And ,as always, thanks for your constant support!
kazumo!! Hello again, and as always thanks! Glad you noticed the custom stances, we need a lot of detail for the combat animations since it is something you will be seeing lots of times during the game!
Thanks a lot n82,we hope to exceed your expectations!
Hello again yangkee101, Thanks! We are definitely having a greenlight page but at the moment we want to develop even more for this game before launching a greenlight.Truth be told, we plan to launch Lost Hope as a complete game, so launching a greenlight campaign would mean having Lost Hope completed at least at a 70%. We hope to have your support! We will , of course, post news and keep your informed about the subject!
That is great! TheLovelyRealm, we first tried other styles but in the end we decided that the "no faces" style would fit great for this kind of experience.
