the palette is a custom palette for "palette tonemap" filter mode on GZDoom, just a palette I like colors-wise and translates nicely to the textures, as for the fixes, I guess it came down to some stuff relating to liquids and the way pwads treat them, may merge it if I ever make another update, not sure, cuz at the end now some of the files have patches on top too so...
if dead players drop items tho murd can know these dudes just playing dead since they have no items around them
Actually kind of an easy fix, just changing the "ammo grenade" line to "ammo stamina" would add a stamina bar AND get rid of the grenade ammo bar that does not exist in BD64.
Can you make a version that works with Brutal Doom 64? (mostly the sprint stamina, and it doesn't have grenades but DOES have reloads), also, alternate colors would be nice (I'd love to see a cyan version of the HUD personally), in general, great work, a very good remake of WW_DOOMNUKEM's visorHUD (AKA the visorHUD used in BD)

Does this only work with PB or does it work with other Brutal Doom versions/forks?
Depending on how easy it is to port them, I may port them to QCDE once this addon is in a more final version.
Started working again on the update, got sidetracked with an addon to a Wolfenstein mod, but now the Bruiser update is kind of in the works again, I finally finished the Doom 2016 HellKnight sprites and next up is the Baron sprites, after that I am unsure what to focus the next update, either make it the Fodder update or the Floaters update, by seeing the name you guys can already guess what monsters will be included.

That Arthur's BD thing on Moddb literally says this on the description:

That's really sad, I would of loved to see an update to this, I hope it still works with GZDoom, but the mod is ancient and GZDoom has changed a lot in the last years, I haven't tested if it does yet.
Can you do a low res version of 5.0? I really like the effects but it's too "HD" and it clashes heavily with vanilla Doom textures
This is cool, however, I feel the volume is too low, can you please make a version with higher volume? (this wouldn't be a problem with other mods, but Brutal Doom has very high volume sound effects, so)
New update: added a shield firemode to the altfire, it's the default firemode now, but you can swap back again to the slash altfire by pressing the dual wield key

Yeah the problem seems to be Zandronum, I asked in the Zandronum Discord and it seems that it has an out of date version of the A_CustomPunch script (that doesn't have armorsteal support), thus the problems.
That's probably the cause of the problem, I see it's an issue relating to the A_CustomPunch code, Zandronum is severely outdated and that could be the reason, maybe it's CustomPunch code is outdated (IIRC Zandronum is based in a GZDoom from 2014 or so)

That's weird, what sourceport are you using? I've only tested it in GZDoom FYI, maybe I should explore the cause of this potential issue later just in case
are you using the correct version? the PERS-ADDON one is for Dox's personalized addon, not for vanilla BD, since the Dox Addon version has a call into a state exclusive from it in the select animation (to show the player's legs like in his addon)
