I think a Diablo/torchlight type of gameplay would be more do-able and functional than oblivion/dark messiah of might and magic.

I'm not digging the leg brace, it seems too... out of place.
Look at how portal 2 did it with their initial Chell concepts, it flows with the human body and you might not even notice it at first
