I like it a lot, but its hard to know where the "slots" are for ground units and fleets. there needs to be a border around every window so i know which box i should put things in, or else it looks like a bloody mess. i specifically stopped playing the mod for this reason, because its not intuitive at all and i kept getting frustrated trying to move things into fleets. putting them in the wrong group, constant miss-clicks, or dragging units outside the box and having to drag them back again.
Love the mod, but the UI is very tricky to navigate in GC. the checkered boxes layout of the vanilla UI made it very easy to know what ships could go in what group, and easy management of ground assets. but with no grid, i cant look at what i have at a glance and its not very intuitive. for example, i dont know where the box is to make that ship be the first in space combat to bring others in manually. i know its in the top left, but i dont know where the group box ends and the other one begins. with so much of the UI being invisible and hard to use, late-game management can get very annoying. but if it is still in development and not the final product, then good luck on your next release :)
Love the idea and it's a shame conquest was not ported to warband, but some of the planets are in the wrong place. for example; Byss was a deep core world, meaning it should be right in the middle. not the outer rim. the viking conquest mechanics would also be a nice addition to the mod as seen in a world of ice and fire, which i greatly prefer to a clash of kings. there's the potential to buy starships that are an actual physical entity like the boats, and not a piece of scripting like in SWConquest, and have the water act as space. or, scenic menues displaying the planet settlement you are visiting.
i know it's a lot to ask for but right now, you really are one of the only warband star wars mods out there; something we sorely need as we await bannerlord.

Love this mod man, Its AMAZING! glad to see the poland/danzig crash is fixed now, it was a major game-breaker.
This would actually be an interesting historical point for Britain. If Brexit leaves, it could spark a "leave" referendum from Scotland. Britain would have the option to let the biggest part of their nation go, or invade the country to keep everything together.
I'm focusing more on creating the countries before i fill in the minor alterations like colour.

Are you thinking about "Re"-doing ground battles? while im very impressed with the work you have done so far, i was a little disappointed when the stormtroopers were the same, low res skins with oversized pistols for weapons. granted, i understand you may not have got that far yet, but i would still greatly appreciate it. it ruins the immersion when you jump into a buggy, ugly ground scenario, when 5 seconds earlier you had this orgasmic space battle with AMAZING affects. i think i speak for the whole EAW community when i say, 'well done' :D
how about individual unit control? (like what they did for the clone wars mod). i dont like the whole 9 units in one unit, square formation thing. it means they all focus fire on one target, and it really ruins the realism. i prefer having blaster bolts fly around from unit to unit, so you can really manage what units you want in a squad etc. just a thought, but i would greatly appreciate it :D
Is there any way to use this map with other mods? e.g battlefront commander? if there isn't, would you be willing to port it across like you did with republic at war?
Love this mod guys. i think the blaster cannon projectile travel speed should be sped up though. it was too slow.
on a scale 1-10, i'd give it a 9. purely because i prefer this to any other clone wars mod like 'Republic At War. however, there are a few issues.
some changes to be made:
- a lot of planets should be changed to pirate or neutral, such as dathomir, Nal' Hutta, Ryloth, Rodia, Shili etc, as they were not alligned with either faction, and instead, ripe for the taking. this should make the connection between the cartoon and this modification more realistic or "Lore friendly".
- Most hero units should be made a stealth unit, allowing more flexability with raids. so far only a few are stealthy like anakin, kit fisto, delta squad etc. this is frustrating when i cant take rex along with anakin because he is not a able to enter a system without being detected.
-grouped heroes should be split. for example, having anakin, ashoka and R2 in one unit is very annoying. i would prefer them in individual ships, like starfighters, making them more flexable.
-Special minor units should be built freely, without a limit. its annoying having only 2 snipers, or just 1 ARF team. during the clonewars, ARC troopers, commando droids, magna guards etc, were abundant within each faction. please increase the amount we can build.
NOTE: ARC troopers and commando teams like Delta Squad, were not unique. kamino was able to produce a lot of them, just like normal clones but with better training. maybe just increase the cost and build time, similar to what republic at war did.
apart from that, an excellent mod. well done.
oh, and one more thing. for some reason, playing as the confederacy freezes my game.

I really enjoyed the previous version, but the only issue was the dissapointing customization. while it did have a few, awesome pieces to kit ships out with, it felt very linear and flat.

I tried working on the fighters and gunships but there was a bug with the game so i'll try to work around it. the destroyers might not be added, as they lack the "romulan" feel. dreadnoughts will be saved for last. i have something special planned ;)
Theres a slight problem with that though. i dont own it on steam and frankly, dont use it so to get workshop mods without subbing, i use a program like this.

Im guessing the mod is totally broken. how the Dev(s) manage to test it is beyond me, but it seams that the entirity of people who actually want to play it end up with an access violation. very bad for the Devs reputation.
thats a little inconvenient for the people not using steam. could you put it on a mediafire or MEGA server etc?
