Awesome man! Keep up the good work :)
Awesome man! Keep up the good work :)
Alright thanks for the tips/explanation! Gotta try this at one point ^^
Thank you very much for the quick answer!
That's really useful to know and I think is a good and cheap way to do it (and cleaver!). The only question I have is if you have some vertex let's say 50% weight on upper and lower leg bone, then what happen to these vertex if you decide to hide the lower leg bone for example?
Wow man that looks really great! I have been thinking about doing something similar in the past. Mind sharing a few tips to get to this level of awesomness? I am pretty you did not go with the 256 mesh variations as it would take too much time to use the system. Is it like the L4D2 where you have predefined ellipse that hide the mesh and you show a specific mesh for the cutting part?
Keep the good work
Hey I did the orignal model for OF2 a while ago, while Ulfen did the texture. Good old time...
Good to see it still being used by the community ^^(Since OF2 has not released). That's cool to see that you managed to make it less poly and use it in gold source :). As for the animation, maybe try to make the headbobing less intense as some people said.
Wow I really like the ambient in the second video.
Did you create a custom shader for the ball glowing?
Also it looks like you animated yellow dots at each vertex position right?
WTF are you talking about. It's been greenlighted. That's why it's on steam right now. Steam is just a platform to share games and softwares easily. It has nothing to do with the quality of the content. Moreover it has been stated multiple time by the developper that the mod is still in beta. It is far from being finished
Thanks! That's an awesome tutorial!
When do you plan on releasing part 2? Can't wait :)
There is one thing that would be amazing. Imagine that pyramid head is chasing you. Looking everywhere for you. It would add a lot to the game in my opinion. Think of the recent Alien Isolation! A constant fear while exploring and solving puzzles
It's modified in the Engine's code, just take a look here:
So you're using the base AI you had on crysis 1. I think it still use flowgraph then. Well can't wait to see the result.
Looking good can't wait to see some gameplay video^^
hehe no more ****** multiplayer nanosuit :)
Judging by this screenshot, the AI is already activated. Is it easier to activate than in Crysis?
If so that would be awesome to play the whole single player campain in coop ^^.
To be honest I don't think this is your. It looks exactly like the one I saw on garrysmod, did you ask permission?
I'm a really huge fan of horror games.
A friend told me to try it (actually I never heard of this mod before) and I can tell you that this is the best horror mod. To me, it's not a mod anymore, it's a game. It took me about 4hours (in easy) to finish the game and even FEAR1(FEAR2 sucks), hadn't scared me as I did sometime in NH2.
Good job to the team, hope to see a "Nightmare House 3" soon.
Really liked the demo. Add some ambient sound or music and it'll be awesome!
I hope there will be coop, it could be so awesome !
Hi , i think you should implement water , because there are animals,so it should have water for them in the world .

Hello, my name is Raphael. I like everything related to computer sciences and that includes video games. During my free time, I like to mod games. Specialy using the source engine but I also tried Cryengine 2 and the Unreal Engine 4. My passion is modeling, I learn alone when I've time. I also like to try new things such as mapping or coding (I'm in a computer science school). I worked on the mod Wilson Chronicles and my charger model will be used in the mod Opposing Force 2. When not working on mods, I do personal works to gain skills.
