Best of all it is FREE and opensource which means that developers are constantly working on it to ensure that users like me get the best results. There is no complicated setups, additional hardware needed to port to the other platforms. I can work on a project in Linux and edit that project source code in Windows or Mac vice versa without any corruption of data or the need for conversion tools. Simple and efficient.
