Maybe I overlooked this part however I think it was unclear. "Simply follow Step 1 and Step 2, and then use the 2.02 Launcher to set your version to 2.02 v8.01." I don't know what launcher they're speaking of.
What Angmar told me, " 2.02 includes a version of 2.01 that works perfectly fine unless using t3a online." So there's different versions of EA 201 that suggests.

So this can restore the original music (a community patch install option) that was stripped from the Steam and GOG versions. That's great (o^-^)b
I have the original CD, 4-disk, version but it stopped working recently and GOG version fixed that.
I even got to try the version of this mod that you sent to Arin and I get the same error on launching 0xc0000005 with no address or details. I guess I have to throw in the towel. I'd hoped to get the Original Gangster version of this game to work but I guess not. Maybe when/if I update to Win11 it'll run but I doubt it. Arin said the error I'm getting is likely it not finding the CD but I have it in the CD tray.
This fix (Exe) doesn't even launch. Doesn't work for me.
This patch sucks ; ) I mean it makes it so that the game no longer recognizes my game CD disk so I can't play, genius. I wonder what went wrong but don't bother with this patch I'd say.

I tried adding a DEP exception but that didn't help. Then I read to leave that as default. The exception error, 0c0000005, doesn't have any details or address: Ibb.co Clearly I'm not alone in having this issue. It's a bummer. Thank you

I get an error when I try to launch this exception 0xc00000005. Setting compat mod and admin doesn't really help the game launch even if the error message doesn't then appear. Any idea how to fix this. I have the same issue with my game when I install it from disks. Help! I tried all the fixes I read online and nothing seems to help.
So this is standalone and doesn't require installing into an existing game?
Unfortunately, Avira detects configurator.exe application in your mod to be similar enough to a heuristic virus that it blocks it. Can we use the mod without the configurator application?

This mod works well it seems but only if you Don't install the included sfc3.Exe file. That causes Exception Violation errors.

The download of SFCLauncher from the Hot & Spicy Forums detected a virus or more in the devkit download. Luckily the SFCLauncher file itself seems Ok. What is it with moddb mods and having virus detections in them. Fairly often.
Following this mod's instructions I was able to get SFC3 running on Win10 (only issue is to get the launcher you have to download a zip file that has what is detected as a virus but I was able to get the file out and delete the rest or have anti-virus deal with it).

SVN Tortoise stops responding when I click OK after putting Gate-birds-sky.org in the URL of repository. Is there another way to install this mod without using SVN Tortoise? I'd use it if it was working for me.
