Nope. I'm alive. I'm living in Crimea and, thanks to Russia, avoided all those horros of war.
As to mod. I just still dont have enough of time to continue development.
Downloads were removed becouse of some people from russian community that intended to use resorces of mod without my permission. More than that, the wanted to do that even don't asking me. Their actions really made me angry. Sorry for inconvinience. The topic with those persons closed, so here is working link for you:

Let's just say, that I dont want give away hours of my job (mostly) and free time to unknown people. At least for free. Also, I hope that I'll continue development, so I dont want to pass rights on the mod to other developers.
Actually, nothing changed for you people by this announcment. Deep freeze is too soft term for mod that haven't been updated for year. Just chaning status.
Sorry people. But I think its time to officially announce that the mod is dead. I really dont have an opportunity to continue development any time soon. I hope, that development will be resumed in future but I cant make any promises. Thank you for staying with us and your support.

Probably you have Win7. Its a common problem for this OS and it occures not due to mod. Try to look for Win7 compability patch or run game in Win XP compability mode. Also an exe file of Forces Of Corruption must be called swfoc.

You can find an editor in the text file of the mod. And that editor is the only way to edit the file.
Also all strings related to the mod marked with CF, NF or IN prefixes.

Well, mod is alive but on temporary freeze. I have a lot of exams in university and 2 course projects. Also my marine practice (i'm navigator cadett, btw :) ) starts in two weeks, so I have a frakin deadline now. Almost no free time. I hope this freeze wont last long, but the worth case scenario that it will continue up to october-november.
Doubty :) Aeronautica Imperialis is a game system about airplanes, not space ships.
The pop cap is 1500pts from version 0.1.2a. And no, cap is not 360 for each ship, it depends upon a ship class and varies between 40-500pts. 500 - tombship.
Cannon, Necrons have their own fleet list in BFG TT game.
I think also there will be some gameplay changes (less tiers, may be some kind of relic position as in DoW for building battleships) and ballance changes. Station will be stronger, bombers and fighters more effective. Also we have some ideas how to add boarding, so it can also appear in mod.
I had some ideas how to add warp exiting special effects but they have failed. So, i have no idea how to add this feature, but if i'll find the way, it definetly will appear in mod. Same thing with reinforcements.

Finish Necron code and add some new ships to Chaos and Imperium. Then we are going to release next alpha.
We plan to add ground combat in future, but now only space.
