It's most likely outdated. Why, I don't know.

I think it means, it will probably not be released before GoH release.

Just a slight joke tough.

Question:

What happend anyways? Last time I exited the game was fine, then this 2.5 GB'ish update arrived, claiming to add USA and whatnot. I tried to boot the game 2 days later. I get this barricade error thing popping up. No idea if that is because of patch or just corrupt files.

Mentioning something missing ''token''.

I have some issues when looking at the whole map vs a part of it. I think I run maxed out settings. I think the reason for it being laggy is either good textures because of the mod, lots of objects in place, and that the map is increadible big compared to normal ones. I never run below 30 what I've felt. I think the mods runs well. I could always lower some setting like the AA that often blow the FPS so smitereens fast.

I have no bigger expections than this. I did not expect less, nor more. It's fine to me. If it lags for me, I'm just lazy with the settings basically. ;)

The 'Battle of Berlin' package has been rumored to cause the crashes, deleting that entire folder in the packages folder...

Folder:...
Steam\steamapps\common\Battle of Empires 1914-1918\packages\ww2-battle_for_berlin

Good luck.

Also, the saying is that removing/deleting the Battle of Berlin pack might solve crashes related to TK.

Solution (Re-made)

1. Download all the 4 parts, 001-002-003-004.

2. Drag and hold over the 4 parts to highlight them in blue.

3. Right click on the files after you did step 3. (Does not matter if 001 or 004 etc)

4. Select the 7-Zip tab, that should open a new tab or window.

5. Select extract to... (something along thoose lines, it should open another window)

6. Then manually specify the location to be extracted, I recommend to an empty folder.

7. In that empty folder, look for the created totaler_krieg folder that was created, if you did right. (Make sure it is not duplicated into another totaler_krieg folder, only one totaler_krieg folder with files inside should exist)

8. Copy the totaler_krieg folder to ''C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Battle of Empires 1914-1918\packages'' (This is how it looks for me)

9. Boot up the game, go to options, and the rear tab, that should be packages, select Totaler Krieg: 1939-45, you will also need the WW2 package.

10. You are done, if all went well, you should be ready to go! Bear in mind, this is only for editor and multiplayer at the moment.

Note: the downloaded parts will need to be extracted to the same location, not to different parts separated from eachother, otherwise it will only appear white and damaged, it is not to be opened until it is extracted into one file and a folder is created.

I hope this helps, and feel free to ask questions! (I take no credit for this solution)

It did not show up for me because I put mine wrong in the first place. :)

Mine's named totaler_krieg inside the Packages folder, and it should be a folder once extracted, also do look so the folder did NOT duplicate inside totaler_krieg folder, that could cause madness.

Now that Totaler Krieg 1939-45 is released, a new passion might blow overhead. I am going to try to start learning how the editor works and perhaps even create some custom maps!

Even tough it looks very hard & advanced to me, I will probably be good within an year if I start to look into it often.

Wish me luck

This all makes sense, Sturm told us he did upload in parts, BUT, then something happend and he re-uploaded, to me it sounded like he uploaded it all in one big file, but Cule confirmed it being parts, so I guess they are damaged because its split in 4 parts.

So selecting them all and ''extracting'' them into one single file should solve it, as they are all named the same, atleast on my computer, good luck kameraden!

From my experience with bad nets (connection) I guess Herr Sturm had estimated the fastest it would be done, so it could actually vary some hours.

Tough I don't know how his net works, but that is what would happen to me.
