It will very likely stop being updated, we are yet to decide what we do about it. Neither Black Mesa deleted their Moddb profile, although stopped updating it. We will let you guys know when we decide what to do.

We try to make them fit, really. But we also need to add new and different sounds. If we decided to just remaster old HL1 sounds, it would not be enough. What was sufficient back in 90´s cannot even be considered as the bare minimum we really need.
We do have plans for more zombie types, however Black Ops zombie is not among them.

We use our own models and have our own vision for them, so they are really not like Black Mesa models.

Less than a month ago, we had an update. So I think you can take that as we are still working. ;)
We do plan to add some new locations rather than cutting content. However, don´t expect dozen of new missions and each chapter being somehow expanded. In the end, this project is massive enough already and longer game doesn´t mean a better game. So we are not really trying to make the game longer unless the new additional areas are really good and make sense.

Yes, animations are unique for each character.
That´s not possible. For many reasons, including legal reasons. Valve, Tripmine and Crowbar Collective are separate entities and each hold certain rights to their projects. We have no deal with Crowbar Collective and it´s really not a realistic to achieve it. As for remaking any other title from Half-Life universe, that´s not going to happen either. We agreed with Valve that this is the only Half-Life related project and there is no will from our part to make it either. I presume Crobwar Collective came to the same agreement and naturally, they want to move on and make something brand new instead of remakes. We don´t want to become a "remake factory" and It´s clear CC doesn´t want it too.
Black Mesa and Operation Black Mesa support workshop so if players really want to make all HL remakes "in the same universe" it will be possible, but that´s not our job. On the other hand, we at least have consistency between Blue Shift and Opposing Force remakes so I hope at least that makes you a bit happy. :)
