I like how the IPA for the 'o' in the English word 'worlds' is a bit like the French [/Ø/].

My question is why you would expect character customization in a visual novel.
It's a ren'py visual novel. There are a ton of them made, in fact it's the most used game engine on GNU/Linux. Not all visual novels originate in Japan!
It's a visual novel, that's how it works :)! If you want to enjoy it, you kinda have to go into it like you would a book.
Is there a demo available anywhere? I'd love to just like...run through the first floor or something as a test.
Oh wow!
Well, I'll keep up my end of the bargain!
Why is this version $20 but the android version is $6? I'm willing to pay $6-10 for this stuff, but...
Would love to buy, but I wouldn't pay more than ~$5.00 for a visual novel when there are so many Ren'Py games available for free. The art does look amazing, though!
Man, everything that you show is awesome!
Though, I don't want you to fall into the trap of announcing and abandoning that new devs always fall prey to.
Your plan to make it Sonic-esque appeals to me a bit. I'd love for there to be alternate paths or a balanced ability system à la "Unlock powers and bring one to the level, that allows you to reach a certain path if you're good enough, and get a time boost".
Another suggestion, just so that I don't have to configure qjoypad when I (definitely) buy it, a controls setup that supports joypads would be wonderful. I would love you long time.
Graphically, it looks cool!
Following. I can't wait for it to progress!
Very cool!
I will definitely be following this project, though it does remind me of a Voxatron mod, or something to that effect.
I just wanted to throw it out there that this is one of the first visual novels that I've played, and the one that I enjoy the most thus far. I really enjoy that the game handles the issue of handicapped people very maturely, especially for the over-sexualized genre that is visual novels.
Thank you.
I tried the demo, and couldn't get past the "Press Enter Key" screen. Lin64, enter set to keycode 104 (Return).
Would love to buy, but since Air is no longer supported and the old binary installer is borked, nothing I can do! Sorry, mate!
I feel bad that you're getting this much bad rep from the wine thing. It's slightly dishonest, but since Desura's "rules" for linux aren't entirely set yet, I don't believe, it's entirely forgivable.
That said, I found the game to be bad-looking and frigidly-controlled, if that makes any sense.
Exactly! When you get shoved off your horse, you get right back on.
You already know the problems you ran into coding it the first time around, and you surely have a general idea of how what you made worked, so it should take no-time flat to put it back together! Well. You know. Half the time?
Don't mean to be a negative Nancy, but is the portrait art final? It's a bit like oil on water, what with vector/flash style drawings with pixelated raster graphics, and they're not particularly great quality in the first place.
Gameplay is great and really fun though! Thank you so much for the fast-forward option!
Will there ever be an option to run the game in windowed mode?
The only resolution options go off the screen in windowed mode! (1366x768 + 1024x768)
