Thanks :) we aren't likely to release our media to the public but may release some files after the game is released.

Looking good Jen, look forward to seeing how this turns out.
Yes, that track is the title track for the game. We only have to tracks mastered so far but expect to get a few more done in the next few months before release.
Thanks, we had been considering that and might give it a go. Potentially we could even drop the table of colours and go with three panels showing hue/saturation/brightness which is how we're doing it on Windows Phone 7 (easier to customize colour with the touch screen).
Thanks, it is a great model and Ognen did a great job getting the model in under our 10k triangle limit!
Thanks, but the current screenshots posted are not from the iPhone version of the game. They are from the Xbox 360 version of the game.
The iPhone version uses pre-generated shadow maps and a simpler lighting engine and thus will not look quite as good as the Xbox 360 version but we're still aiming to get it looking as good as we can!
Sorry? The game contains no swearing what-so-ever. The game has been designed with multiple control modes:
Simplistic - Designed for children, the car automatically shifts gears and the handling is much less realistic (the car does not drift as much and turns much more responsively). The other cars will also slow down if they get too far ahead, this is aimed at younger players.
Automatic - Standard automatic setting you see in most games. Uses the proper physics for the car but gear shifting is handled automatically.
Manual - The same as automatic except you also must shift gears yourself while driving (better in many cases for the drift points to drive in manual mode).
Awesome art work, you have some very talended concep artists.
I like the lighting on the left side building, looks pretty realisitc.. the right side not so much but very good work :)
Love the level of detail and prop usage.
Love the lighting and prop use.
I would position the rifle closer to the player, as if he's holding it across his chest.. You wouldn't normally carry around a sniper rifle in that stance. Looks good though, I'm looking forward to trying this.
Nice texture work again.
Great lighting and texture work.
I think you should try and blur the area outside the scope, to focus on the centre.
Very nice, remind me somewhere of the Firefly class ship from the TV show of the same name ;-)
Great mod, good work on this! It's good to see people trying to keep Trek gaming alive!
love the blood splats everywhere hehe but needs more texture/decal work so you don't notice the repeats as much.
If the camera pans down a bit you'll see he's actually about to slice up a pizza!
oh, and nice work btw.
Very nice lighting, I like the 'mood' of this shot.
Nice work, with a few props to add detail I think this'll look great.
Looking good, I hope you manage to keep the same level of detail throughout the game.
Can't wait to see this in action!
Very nice texture work, and nice model too.
Very nice, especially considering you've used no code so far. My own 3rd person camera (and fixed position cameras on walls) took me months to develop and get right! I'll be watching this one for sure.
This is probably still my favourite Need For Speed game. I played it years ago and loved the way the game progressed. Having to start in the old classic Porsche's means you learn the tracks while not having to concentrate too much on tight corners and perfecting your racing line. Then over time you progress through the history of Porsche and on to the latest and greatest cars on offer, by that point in the game you've raced the tracks so much that you know the best lines to take and where all the shortcuts are and the game is still fun eventhough you've played the tracks so much.
On top of the racing mode is the test driver mode which was fun and challenging too, even today the graphics and detail in this game look great. It was definitely one of the best racing games out when it was first released.
So long as the rest of the maps have the same attention to detail this mod is going to be one of the best when it's released.
Very nice. The ground could use a bit of work I think but it looks quite atmospheric.
Don't worry, the project will not die! It's well under way and we don't want to rush it, there's plenty to do and plenty done already. We'll reveal some media and other stuff shortly but until then just check back here for updates (which we are going to try and post more frequently).
